7 ITEMS ACTUALLY WORTH BUYING FOR BLACK FRIDAY
Don't buy something on sale that you wouldn't buy full price.
Sales and I have a complicated relationship… we’re working on it.
In past years, I’ve been guilty of buying things on sale, just because they’re on sale. And by past years, I really mean this past Spring, and every sale season before that, since I’ve had access to a credit card. I didn’t need them, and most of the time, I realized I didn’t even want them. However, you only realize you don’t actually want the $300 top, after you already bought it and you can’t return it. The words, FINAL SALE, in bold red writing still haunt me. I had to take a stance, make a change, in hopes to put a stop to impulse shopping once and for all (still a work in progress).
Enter the wish list: Equal parts, the strongest and weakest tool for curbing my shopping addiction… well, attempting to at least. The former, being accountability. Ensuring that more than 20 seconds of thought go into a purchase, and that I don’t fall too far off track. The latter, being the rush of dopamine I get after crossing an item off my wish list, making me want to buy more.
Moral of the story, don’t buy something on sale that you wouldn't buy full price.
Here’s 7 items both from my closet, and cabinet that are actually worth your money. It’s just an added bonus that they’re also on sale.
