A Few of My Current Favourite Fashion Follows
Chic ladies I'm currently gathering inspiration from.
One of my favourite things about this industry, is that nobody's style is identical. Everyone brings something slightly unique and different to the table, even if they’re utilizing the same formula of jeans, sweater, loafers, etc.. I am constantly searching and scrolling for inspiration. I’m fascinated learning, and seeing how other people pair certain items that may have never crossed my mind before. Something that I believe to be super important in my work is sharing inspiration that feels attainable (i.e., re-wearing pieces and not dressing in a skin-tight leather catsuit).
Here are some of my favourite fashion follows as of late, that I feel are sharing attainable inspiration:
Lucy Williams
I am almost embarrassed that I didn’t follow Lucy until later in 2023, when she promptly popped up on my FYP. I was mesmerized by her style, and I resonate with it heavily. The way she layers is impeccable, and she incorporates a lot of fun pieces into her looks. Find Lucy on TikTok, and Instagram.
Gabriella Gofis
Gabs embodies effortless chic to me. She is a fantastic follow for everyday looks, because we constantly see her re-wearing her favourite pieces. What really makes her stand out in my opinion, is the way she accessorizes. Gabs accessorizes her outfits with such intention, whether it’s through jewelry, belting, or selecting the perfect bag to complement the outfit. Find Gabriella on Instagram, and TikTok.
Sarah Gray
Sarah’s style symbolizes slow living. Sarah has a very relaxed way of dressing, which is warm and comforting to me. She is constantly sharing in real-time, what pieces she leaves the house in to walk around town, run errands, and grab coffee with friends. Sarah’s approach to style and fashion is very mindful, which is a breath of fresh air. Find Sarah on Instagram, and TikTok.
Alice Pilate
I love following Alice because she’s more daring with her style than I am. She integrates a lot of dresses, skirts, and colour into her looks in such an effortless way. I fell in love with Alice’s style when she got invited on a brand trip with Veja, to go hiking and tap into the outdoors in Spain. Her outfits on this trip were extremely elevated, yet attainable which sparked my obsession. Find Alice on Instagram and TikTok.
Courtney Grow
The freaking CEO of chic!!!! Mixing high, low, and vintage together, the way Courtney pairs her pieces quite literally sends me into a state of zen. Courtney’s vibe is a mix of girly, and tomboy, as she’s always wearing oversized silhouettes, yet pairing them with a mesh flat. Find Courtney on Instagram, and TikTok.
Heather Hurst “Pig Mami”
Heather has such an interesting take on dressing, and the way she describes style in general. She often touches on dressing based on a feeling, and takes a more maximalist approach to style compared to other people I tend to gather inspiration from. Although maximalist, it’s not overwhelming which is why I fell in love with her. Heather’s style is unapologetically hers, which is what makes it so great. Find Heather on TikTok, and Instagram.
