COS SS24 is Making my Brain Tingle

An impromptu store visit.

Yesterday, I was returning something across the street from the COS on Robson (in Vancouver), and decided to take a gander inside. When I used to live 2-blocks away from this location, I felt like I went inside every other day. Their window displays were always styled to perfection, and they certainly captivated me to take a peek at what was inside the shop.

Once I left my previous apartment, I found myself browsing their website less and less, as it wasn't top of mind. After my most recent visit, I don’t think this will ever happen again. Whoever was in charge of the COS new arrivals… you deserve an award, truly.

The first piece that caught my eye was this tie-up vest. It was perfectly structured, yet breezy… the perfect summer night top.

As I was walking out of the change room, I did a full 180 to further inspect this raffia clutch that sitting on the shelf. I have a wedding in Greece coming up this summer, and I think this will make the perfect Euro accessory.

The last piece that caught my eye in store, was this high-shine nylon bag. I definitely don’t need another shoulder bag, but if I did this would be next on the list.

There wasn’t a ton of stock/selection in the store (they are definitely going for the minimalist retail vibe), but everything I saw I liked, which always prompts me to scroll the website when I get home.

I’d style both of these pieces with a white tank, black leather sandals, and some sort of fun silver/brown bag. The striped shorts I’m especially excited to style (you bet your ass I bought these). They’re reminding me of a long elevated boxer short. The denim trouser is such a fun play on a traditional pair of denim. Another brand that nails this look is The Frankie Shop.

This oversized Silk Short-Sleeve Blazer looks like everything my dreams are made of. Paired with either of the bottoms above, or a pair of white denim, too good.

Thin knits for summer are always a wardrobe essential for me. I’m thinking the maxi dress is the perfect European beach cover up. There’s no doubt in my mind that the yellow knit long sleeve will pop with a tan.

You know I love anything with a stud.

A great leather sandal that can be dressed up, or down.
