I may not have a home of my own to decorate at this very moment, but that doesn't mean I’m not always browsing and hunting for pieces.
This months obsession has been pinning home inspo on Pinterest, and making it my mission to find the best coffee table books, trinkets, marble dishes, and more.
Before we get into the pieces, here’s a few pictures that make my brain sing:

Books:
My approach to home decor is very minimal. I thrive in a space with lots of natural light, and a very curated collection of decor/art/books/etc.
Books to me are a way to add colour, texture and dimension into a space. Layering and stacking coffee table books or having a curated bookshelf creates a more lived in space, but still gives off a minimalist feel.
Here are some of my favourite magazines/coffee table books that I cannot wait to put in my future space:
More is More cookbook, by Molly Baz
Get Your Shit Together, by David Shirley
Any/every vintage ski/snowboard/climbing/hiking/surgfing magazine on the earth.
Marble / Chrome / Home Accessories:
I’ve always had a thing for marble dishes, jewelry plates, cement objects (including furniture i.e., coffee tables & bedside tables) and accents that will pop against wooden features (can you tell I want a lot of wood in my future space). Recently, that has developed into a deep deep obsession with chrome and stainless steel.
Here are some of my favourites at the moment:
Anything Lazy Jamie Home (how cool would the snacking bowls be as jewelry dishes….)
Stainless Steel half dome bowl (this is technically meant for the kitchen, but would love this as a catchall dish)
Donut plate as a candle holder
Chrome catchall dish from Amazon
Travertine Bathroom Stand from ETSY
Add your favourite jewelry, perfume, or a collection of match boxes into any of these dishes, and you’re good to go.
My favourite Scents for the Home:
Having 1… or 10 staple home scents is essential. Having certain scents you associate with home creates relaxation, and allows you to feel safe. I love to light candles to enhance my space, and create a cozy atmosphere. Also… I don’t know about you, but having hand-soap that looks good, makes it feel like a luxury.
Here are my favourite scents:
Merge Balmy Summer Candle (burning this as we speak)
Libertine Fragrance Incense Cones
Teakwood & Tobacco Incense Sticks
