What does it mean to be cool? I’m sure there are hundreds of definitions on what “cool” is, and how to achieve a “cool” look. Being cool is completely subjective. What’s cool to me, might not be cool to you and vice versa. Despite all of the subjectivity carried behind it, it’s still the compliment I long for the most.
That brings me to the million dollar question; What is cool? I don’t think we’re ever going to have a clear-cut answer to this question, but we can all create our own lists. To start, I think caring is cool. Outfit repeating is cool. Being kind is cool. Knowing what you want is cool. Authenticity is cool. Honesty is cool. Taking chances is cool. I could go on forever, and that’s truly the beauty behind it.
However, we’re here (mostly) to discuss fashion, so I want to give you the run-down on what I currently think is cool within that space:
Outfit Repeating is Cool.
I am a chronic outfit repeater, and it’s always going to stay that way. Finding formulas that work for you and utilizing them when dressing is what personal style is. There’s also nothing more unrealistic than buying an outfit, and only wearing it once. Below are some of my favourite outfits that are always on rotation.
