Happy Monday & Happy April! Keeping this short and sweet, as I am writing another post currently too (all about active/hiking wear). I rounded-up my 11 favourite things from the first quarter of the year on TikTok, and wanted to link them all here for easy-access.
As we all know, I don’t take recommendations lightly, and would only ever recommend things that I use on a daily/weekly basis.
Here’s the list:
#1 James Street Co. Knit shorts
I was wearing these all last summer in yellow, so I figured the natural progression was to grab them in my favourite colour, blue. There are still a few pairs lingering on the Archive site.
#2 Halfdays Nellie Packable Puffer
I was kindly gifted this jacket in September for a project, however it has proven its place in my closet and become one of my most worn jackets for Spring/winter. I wore it for winter runs, on warmer ski days, and it’s transitioned into a fun statement piece for Spring dressing. Also… obsessed with the purple.
#3 The Butter Tumbler Bra from Aritzia
One of the most flattering sports bras I’ve ever owned. Supportive enough for low and high-impact movement (I have a B-cup so take that with a grain of salt), and buttery-soft to the touch. I just recently ordered this blue colour also.
A more recent addition to my collection, I was captivated by the silver hardware and the fortune cookie shape. This bag comes in at a medium price point ($400 CAD), which I think is SO reasonable for a leather-bag. The craftsmanship is out of this world, and it is such a great size.
#5 Weleda Skin Food and #6 Living Libations Best Skin Ever
Adopting a less-is-more skincare routine, and my skin is finally resorting back to its original state. I use both the heavy and light skin food cream (heavy at night, light in morning), and cleanse with the best skin ever oil in either rose, or seabuckthorn.
The most flattering pair of denim I own. I’m a baggy jean girl through-and-through, however these have proven themselves to be the most worn pair of denim in my closet. I wear a size 25 (go TTS for a straight fit, or size up for a looser fit).
This is the Khaite belt’s younger, edgier sister. This belt is definitely a statement piece and I have had so much fun pairing it with simple outfits to create more dimension to the look.
#9 Aritzia Soft Feels Bike Short Tee
I have this in both white (size M), and grey (size XS). The M is extremely oversized, while the grey is that perfect baggy fit on me. This tee is insanely soft, and drapes perfectly on the body.
Whoever designed these… you deserve a round of applause. The sculpt-flex material hugs everything in, but somehow they don’t ride up. I need 10 more pairs.
This should come as a surprise to no-one. Tied for being my most worn coat, alongside my vintage Mountain Hardwear puff. I have two sizes (one women’s S, and one Men’s L). This is my ski layer, camping jacket, a winter coat, and so much more.

Love 'em all! I've been eyeing that Halfdays puffer for months and it might finally be time... can I ask what size you have?
I am curious what size you have in the James street co shorts! I am a 4/6 and unsure if the small would be too small. I imagine they do stretch out due to the 100% cotton fiber content
